Ongoing - Dog Obedience Classes are held every Thursday at 5:30 at Froo Froo's on Main. Must Register prior to class. Pets must be vaccined & leashed. $50.00 for each 4 week session. Held by Angela of Beagle's Bed & Breakfast. http://www.beaglesbedandbreakfast.com/

August 1st - Dog Days of Summer - Downtown Mt. Airy 10-2

August 15th - AWS has been invited to Round Peak Vineyards to celebrate the opening of their doggie park for visitors to their vineyard.  We have been invited to sell t-shirts/give out literature/adoption fair-  10:30 till whenever.  They will have tents and electricity for us if we want to use fans.  Their busy time is 11-4.  They will also donate $1 for every wine tasting and every bottle of a particular wine sold that day-
